Capitol Monument Company is a family owned and operated full service monument retailer based in Gonzales, Texas where they have been creating custom monuments since 1979. The Klesel family purchased Capitol Monument Company from previous owner and founder Joe F. Solansky in 2022 and looks forward to continuing the impeccable reputation the company has for itself. We understand the importance of selecting the appropriate monument. That is why our expert design team is willing to sit down and help you to sketch a unique design for yourself or loved ones. Our craftmanship is second to none. Our commitment to our craft and attention to detail continue to be the foundation of the company. The Klesel family also has a second sales office location in Kingsville, Texas operating as The Monument Place. Their courteous staff in Kingsville will work with families on the design and our expert team at our headquarters in Gonzales, Texas will order, craft, and set monuments all over the south Texas area
For nearly 50 years, we have grown to serve all of Central & South Texas. With care and dedication, we've refined our techniques of engraving, transporting and installing granite to ensure the integrity of every memorial we set. In addition to custom monuments, Capitol Monument also offers cemetery restoration work, custom curbing and backfills as well as monument restoration.
